With Opening Day, season long investments (as I like to call them) can be a fun way to prep for the season. Here are my favorite picks.

Colson Montgomery 30 HR – I love Colson Montgomery. His odds are amazing on every book because he is not too well known yet. Colson averaged a homer in just under every 13 at bats last season. That is good enough to make him top 5 in the MLB if he doesn’t hit the sophomore slump…

Bo Bichette 100 RBI – This is a great plus odd prop I love. His line is likely somewhere near 80, but I love it so much that I am taking it here. Bo is going to hit 3/4 in a lineup that excels at getting on base. Juan Soto will take his walks which will likely set up Bo for numerous opportunities.

Juan Soto 20 SB – Soto exploded with steals last season. He almost had a 40/40 season. 20 Stolen Bases should be free, I am also taking at 30 for some fun.

Ronald Acuna 40 SB – Acuna came back from injury last year, so he was taking it easy on the steals. I was questioning it at first until I saw he was running wild in Spring Training. It seems he is no longer worried about his new when running, which is a huge part of his game. I think he will make a huge comeback this year.

Nolan McLean 12 wins – Nolan Mclean is already budding into one of the superstars in the Mets rotation. They are going to rely on him heavily this year. This year’s lineup features more consistency, and the bullpen feels stronger depth wise. I trust Nolan to go well over 12 wins with his exceptional stuff.

Kurtz 37 HR – Kurtz had a mammoth rookie season and he missed 3 months of regular season while still coming through the minors. He had 36 last year, and at that cracker jack park in Sacramento… expect him to take advantage of pulling the ball in the air.

Pirates to Make The Playoffs – The Pirates have an outstanding rotation of stuff. Lead by Skenes, it also features Keller, Bubba Chandler, and at some point Jared Jones. The Pirates finally added hitters like Ozuna, Lowe, O’Hearn, and Mangum to give them some pop when Skenes holds them to 2-3 runs per fame.

White Sox to make the Playoffs – This one feels more of a long shot (+1600). But the White Sox are young and exciting and have plenty of young talent now. They added Murakami to give them, hopefully, some star power pop. They also have Colson Montgomery, Chase Meidroth, Kyle Teel, Austin Hays, and Miguel Vargas. This is a very solid lineup for a very weak AL Central. There is also some promise in their bullpen with new added Seranthony Dominguez to go with fireballer Grant Taylor, Jordan Leasure, and Jordan Hicks. This is a very fun prop.
