Last week I was 2 – 2 on my best picks. I was most hurt by the Paul Skenes blow up on opening day but hit a massive underdog Nationals F5 line to stay in the green. We move on to week two hoping to stay positive.
Marlins F5 +.5 – This is my favorite pick of the weekend. Odds should be juiced in the Yankees favor because they are hot and playing a small team like the Marlins. However, I am a believer in the Eury Perez comeback and I think the Yankees stars are still somewhat cold. I expect Eury to keep the ball on the ground and I think their lineup is just hot enough to put a couple runs up against Will Warren.
Orioles/Pirates F5 under 4 – I love the rubber match in this one. Kyle Bradish is one of my favorite sleepers this season and facing Mitch Keller who looked untouchable in his last outing. Konnor Griffin will start this game, which is exciting, but I was not sold with his spring. I think he could have a rough start coming in so young. Expect the bats to start out slow with these two pitchers on the bump
